Wavelet and Energy Detection Based Spectrum Sensing Techniques in Cognitive Radio Technology

چکیده

In wireless communication spectrum is the most important commodity and utilizing the spectrum is also one of the important issue. For the best and proper utilization of the spectrum this cognitive radio technology is very useful. The main issues in cognitive radio now a days is the spectrum sensing problem and it gained a new aspects and opportunistic in the concept of spectrum access. Various sensing techniques are there in this technology hence this paper mainly deals with wavelet detection and energy detection based spectrum techniques in CR and will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these techniques and also will discuss the performance of these methods when compared to other methods. Sensing the spectrum is a very important concept in CR for secondary users to operate without interfering the primary users. The SU can implement sensing the spectrum individually by exchanging local observations. The idea of cognitive radio is planned to address the issue faced in the spectrum efficiency and it provides wireless users to adopt their operating parameters and dealings with the help of adjacent radio environment. CRs having so many developments in the past decade. This paper deals with more advances in the cognitive radio research area.
